'Funemployed' follows the lives of comedy television writers, Hanna and Faye, who have moved to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams of getting their pilot picked up to a major network. When they fail to get noticed, their literary agent implores them to go out and experience "normal" 23-year-old things: part-time jobs, dating, and the vast trials and tribulations of surviving as young women in Los Angeles.​
